Move the mouse cursor over the chart to see the underlying numbers.
If you unintentionally changed the size or appearance of the chart and wish to revert the chart to the original size and shape, tap the "Reset axes" icon in the top left corner of the chart: Reset axes

Can’t see the forest for the trees? Click in the legend on a country to remove a country from the chart, one at a time, then click on countries in any order (best is from the bottom to the top) to let them appear on the chart again .
Draw a rectangle to select and zoom in on an area of the chart to see details.
Use the buttons in the upper left corner to zoom in/out, pan, reset the axes and download the chart.
Small numbers with decimals between 0 and 1 (e.g. 0.1) are used to make zeroes visible on a logarithmic scale.

The data line of each country shows the Cases Trajectory:

  • The horizontal axis shows the total number of COVID-19 cases. This number stays the same when there are no new cases and goes up (the line moves to the right) when new cases are reported. It will never go down.
  • The vertical axis shows the moving average of New (daily) COVID-19 cases in the past seven (7) days. This number and the line will go up when an increasing number of new cases were reported in the past 7 days and they will go down when the number of reported cases has decreased in the past 7 days. When no new cases have been reported in the past 7 days, this number (and the line) will go down to zero. As zero values cannot be shown on the logarithmic scale of the vertical axis, zero values are replaced with “0.1” or a lower value e.g. “0.09”. The lowest significant value above zero is “0.14”, which is the daily average of one new case in the past seven days.

A country that is successful in reducing the spread of the disease will have a low value on the vertical axis, and the data line will end near or at the bottom of the chart.
